"Had a great time there w my kids! It was their first time skiing practice. The instructors were so awesome w kids. I think all the instructions I saw today were very professional & sincere in caring for customers. My hubby did mention that he wanted more out of adult class, and I agree that I wish they could but increase the cost. I felt so safe for kids in this ski area. We pay for the luxury of having..."

"Outstanding facility! Yes, it is small—nothing like going to Colorado—but it is perfect for teaching your kids how to ski or snowboard and is decent practice for beginner to intermediate adults before making a big trip to the real mountains. The staff is great, the food is good, and the bar service is amazing! We should be happy to have a place like this in our metro area!"

"Was a great experience for my 5yo first time skiing. Courtney was an incredible instructor and the price was right!! It wasn't terribly busy in the morning although the hour ahead of time was definitely needed to get all the equipment and checked in. We can't wait to go back...it's too close not to! It's nothing like the big resorts but...it's in Iowa and 20 mins away from Omaha so cannot complain. Perfect for beginners!!"

"It was a quiet cool experience to go skiing in Iowa. Unfortunately just one lift was open. The hill is good for beginners. As an experienced skier I can say that after 3-4 hours it gets a little bit boring. To go half day skiing is totally sufficient here. So it's like 5 minutes up and 30 seconds down. Ski pass is on weekends 44$ for adults and additional 36$ to rent all the equipment. The Atomic ski I got..."

"Came from Florida to visit family in Omaha and wanted to have a mini snowboarding trip. they do not sell snow gear BESIDES gloves, goggles, and neck gators. (check out goodwills in omaha and or Dicks sporting goods for gear). Make an account online and reserve your rentals ahead of time to make everything an easy process. Very nice staff up front to help with waivers/purchases & staff downstairs for rentals were super helpful to find the correct size for helmets..."

"Last year we had a very dry winter, so in order to get my snow fix I came to Crescent. I'm a xc skier, who only planned on skiing the base area to get my snow fix until we got snow in town. This place is great! The staff is nice, the ski patrol is very helpful, and the lift lines move quickly. The main hillside angle has low enough angle that its perfect to learn how to ski on..."

"This was a fun time. Pretty disorganized though. We thought we'd be proactive and order tickets, ski rentals and sign waivers online to speed things up as in the past this process was a nightmare. It did help speed things up but there was no designated line for online tickets or anything that would make it faster if the lines had been long. So that kinda stinks. Ticketing staff was quick and friendly though. The rental....here's where it became a..."
